Straight answers.
I only play clubs. Is this wedding software?
No. The everyday product is the booking inbox, the calendar and your public page — that's what a club or mobile DJ lives in, and it's free. Run sheets and the day-of console are a Pro upgrade for produced events only. A club slot stays a light record: date, venue, time, fee, confirm or decline. It never drags you into event machinery.
How is my page different from a link list?
A link list sends people somewhere else to contact you. Your Kadens page takes the booking: it leads with a request action, shows your rate and your reviews, and drops structured enquiries straight into your inbox — with the date, type and fee already attached.
What does “share the DM in” actually do?
You use your phone's normal share sheet on a message or email. Kadens reads it and drafts a booking — date, venue, time, fee where it can find them. You check it, correct anything, and confirm. It never books something without you looking at it.
Can bookers see my whole calendar?
No. Bookers you have a live relationship with see a day as free or busy — nothing about what the gig is, where, or who with. You control it with the open-for-work toggle.
What's the difference between crowd ratings and verified reviews?
Crowd ratings come from a no-login QR card — anyone on the floor can rate a set, and they feed the public leaderboard. Verified reviews are stricter: only a booker or client you actually played for can leave one, once per booking. They're kept visibly separate on your page, and the verified ones carry the weight.
Do I need the phone app?
No, the web app is fully responsive. The phone app exists for the two things phones are better at: confirming a slot while you're out, and running the night from the booth — including offline, so the venue's signal isn't a dependency.
I run a night as well as playing. Do I pay twice?
No. Rostering DJs for your own night is free, indefinitely — turn it on from your settings and the booker workspace appears. It's an activation, not a purchase.
