About

Built in the booth, not in a boardroom.

Kadens exists because the person who built it needed it on a Saturday and couldn't buy it anywhere.

Where it came from

I’m Nick. I’m a working DJ in the Melbourne hip hop and R&B scene — clubs, private gigs, produced events. Kadens didn’t start as a company idea; it started as the mess on my own phone.

My bookings lived across WhatsApp, Instagram, text, email, and a spreadsheet I updated when I remembered. The moment that made this product was specific and unglamorous: standing in a supermarket on a Thursday, not sure whether Saturday’s gig was actually confirmed, scrolling three apps trying to find the message where somebody may or may not have said “locked in.” If you play for a living, you know that particular sick feeling.

Everything I tried was built for someone else. Wedding CRMs assume every gig is a wedding and every client fills in forms. Link-in-bio tools are decoration — they don’t know what a booking is. Invoicing tools think a gig is a line item. Nobody had built for the DJ who plays a club on Friday and a 21st on Saturday — and that person is most working DJs. They had no tool at all, so they ran their business out of a group chat.

So Kadens is that tool: one inbox for every booking however it arrives, a calendar that tells the truth, a page you can put on a business card, and — when the night is big enough to have a script — the run-sheet and live console to run it.

What Kadens refuses to be

Kadens doesn’t do your bookkeeping, your tax, or your invoicing. There are good tools for that. Kadens runs your gigs.

Proof, not promises

Five events. 100+ guests each. Every one run on Kadens. Beau, an MC working Melbourne production events, took Kadens from first enquiry to last cue across five real nights before it had a single paying customer.

Where we are

Kadens is available worldwide today. We’re building local density one scene at a time, and Melbourne is first. If your scene is next, tell us.
