Your data

Delete your account

You can delete your Kadens account and its data at any time, from inside the app or from this page. Deletion takes effect after 30 days, and you can cancel it at any point in that window by signing in.

If you can sign in

On the web, open Settings → Account and choose Delete account. We email you a six-digit code first — deleting an account is not something a borrowed session gets to do — and the 30-day clock starts the moment you enter it.

On iOS and Android, open the Profile tab and choose Delete account. The app hands you to the form on this page, which confirms by email instead of a code.

If you can’t sign in

Enter the email address on the account. We’ll send a confirmation link to that address; clicking it starts the 30-day clock. The link expires in 24 hours.

For privacy reasons this form gives the same answer whether or not an account exists for the address you enter — we won’t tell a stranger whether you have an account.

What gets deleted

Your profile, public page and press kit; the events you own and everything inside them — run sheets, moments, tasks, client details, questionnaires, approvals, chat threads and guest requests; your uploaded files and artwork; your availability; your ratings and reviews; your saved integrations and any messages we captured from connected inboxes.

If you are the only owner of a venue or promoter profile, that profile and its client details go too. If you share it with someone else, it stays with them and only your membership is removed.

What stays, and why

Billing and tax records — invoices, payments, credits — are kept for seven years, as Australian law requires. Once your account is deleted those records no longer identify you.

Content you contributed to other people’sevents stays where it is, with your name removed: a message in someone else’s event chat, a task assigned to you on their run sheet, a review you wrote about another DJ. These show as “Deleted account”. Removing them would gut a conversation or a live run sheet that isn’t ours or yours to erase — this is the same approach Slack and Notion take, and it’s what our privacy policy describes as de-identifying rather than deleting.

Events created by a venue or promoter that you were merely booked onto are theirs, not yours. They stay; your name comes off the booking.

Your subscription

If you’re on a paid plan, the subscription is cancelled when the deletion actually runs — not when you request it — because the 30-day window is reversible and cancelling on day one would quietly downgrade you if you changed your mind. A renewal falling inside the window will still be charged. If you want billing to stop first, cancel the plan in Settings → Billing before requesting deletion.

Timing

Nothing is deleted during the 30days — sign in and cancel and everything is exactly where you left it. After that, deletion runs and cannot be undone. We’ll email you when the clock starts and again when it finishes.

Backups are retained on a rolling basis for up to 30 further days and are not used to restore deleted accounts.
